...signed a minor league deal with an invite to spring training. Not a bad move, he's old and injury prone, but we've had a lot of success in signing catchers recently (Myers in '03, Zaun in '04) so this deal cant be that bad.

This move gets a shrug of indifference from me. At least they didn't re-sign Pat Borders. :D

Pat Borders is still out there, I think he signed in Milwaukee recently.
