Round #2 nets Todd Helton for $50:biggrin: and Josh Fogg $7 who could average 1.5 strikeouts per inning (thats what I'm hoping for). Promissing youngster from the AL. Helton could possibly be the best pure hitter in baseball and he calls Coors field home. If anyone can hit a 400 avg, it will be Todd.

Been bidding around market value, but there are no bargins yet.With the work week behind me I can study the draft more closely, which should spell T.R.O.U.B.L.E for the other GM's.

I am doing one thing productive. With my slightly under market value bids I keep the other owners from from getting the bargins. I havn't seen any real bargins yet, but soon . Most GM's have cash flow problems at this point.

Won bids on corner infielder "The Crime Dog" and OF Geoff Jenkins. I had in mind a second 1st baseman as my CI ...

Won Wade Miller for $20 , felt I needed an ACE, best pitcher left. Got my #2 closer Jose Jiminez, almost added bret Prinz. Might go for a #3 later. J.T.Snow I got for a Utilty man. Jason Scmidt is my other ACE and should provide quality starts all year. Garrett Stephenson is returning from shoulder surgery and will be ready to go. Multi position catcher Michael Barrett is primed for a breakout year. Placido Polanco is a key element for my team. He plays 2B,SS,3B, OF. Dodger OF Marquis Grisom rounds out the spending spree and now I'm outa money. One dollar bids the rest of the way.
