I'm Stuffed!

Smoked turkey, baked turkey, fried turkey (if you've never deep fried a turkey you're missing something special), dressing, smashed taters, pecan pie, lemon meringue pie, family and friends and good beer:thumbsup: Next comes the best part...leftovers and all the pies I didn't have room for today. :banana:

We had relatives at our place tonight and we had a good meal. My mom did a great job cooking up the turkey, chicken curry, pecan pie, and some wine. I was stuffed after I ate my second turkey. I will be eating lot of leftovers for the weekend.

It was a great evening. I just wish my Timberwolves would have won that game against Indy.

Good to see everyone have a great night of Thanksgiving.

It's fun seeing what everyone had! :clap:

We stuffed ourselves too. (Of course!) Turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, sweet potatoes, corn, a really cool grilled brussell sprouts/garlic/bacon dish, rolls, oh and lefse. :D

My mom is a primo lefse maker and sent some from Minnesota. None of the people at my friends' had ever tried it or knew how to eat it. It's a soft tortilla-like Norwegian thing, made from potatoes, flour, cream and sugar. It's rolled out very thin, and then put on a griddle for about a minute on each side, then you just let them cool and eat them with butter, or jam, or cinnamon and sugar, or you put your turkey in them. YUM! Mom made up a batch and sent it to NYC by Priority Mail! :clap:

So, after dinner, there was apple and pumpkin pie. And, before, during and after dinner there was wine, wine, and more wine.

can't there be a Happy St. Fitness Day?? to counter Thanksgiving?? the whole country would be OFF that day, all gyms and exercise-places are FREE, and if you're not in a gym/dance-studio/ymca, then you are outside running, walking, playing frisbee, soccer, whatever.... moving your body and getting in shape :clap:



while i am a huge fan of food (and thanksgiving), i just hate the way i feel the day after...... :barf:

It's just me and my dad, so like I've done for the last 9 years since my mom passed away I ordered 2 turkey dinners with all the fixings from the local restaurant. The dinners came with cream of turkey soup, sweet potato, vegetables (peas and carrots), cranberry sauce, stuffing, and pumpkin pie. My dad and I even have leftovers for tonight as they send alot of stuff.

Went to my parents house and spent the day with my son along with my best friend (Brent) and his daugher along with 2 sisters and their kids:)

I had turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, corn, and for desert had some pudding pie my sis makes along with blueberry pie:drool: and some oreo cookie pie:drool:

I really stuffed myself with moms stuffing and potatoes:D

Turkey, two types of stuffing (my grandma's traditional andrice stuffing), garlic mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, salad, asparagus, some sort of mushrooms rolls, apple pie, pumpkin pie and the turkey cake from Baskin Robbins. And leftovers were divine! :) Yum!

I was able to have two celebrations one at school with my students and their families. And the one with my family
