Off to see a screening of Beyond the Sea, the new movie about Bobby Darin, starring Kevin Spacey. I love Kevin Spacey. :love2:

Then shopping for stuff to make shortbread. My friend Mark and I are always in charge of brunch at church the Sunday after Thanksgiving, because it coincides with St. Andrew's Day, so we make shepherd's pie and salad and shortbread for dessert, with a wee dram of single malt whiskey, if anyone wants it...... and people usually want it. :D Mark wears his kilt, we put up Scottish flags. Fun.

But I'm making 4 batches of shortbread. That's alot. Guess Saturday is taken care of. :hmm:

We feed about 80. :D

Oh, and I just got back from a bike ride.

I slept til noon. After I finish my three cups of coffee, I'll be washing a sink full of dishes. Then veg on the couch for a while til I get together with a friend late afternoon. I sooo need to take it easy.

Cynthia, you haven't left your job yet? I think I thought you quit on the spot instead of giving notice. Or is this a new job?? In either case, why on earth are you working the day after Thanksgiving???

Have a good one, everybody!!

We'll be heading out to my mom in law's for belated Thanksgiving dinner. Two days ago, she was rushed to the hospital where we met her there while my hubby's sister and her hubby from CA called 911 at six am which she called us at 6:15 am. That's her second time in one month due to her heart problems. This time it was fluids in both her lungs and heart. It turns out she had so much salt in her system. She has to change a new diet, this time no salt/sodium. She finally was released from the hospital yesterday afternoon. So we had to postpone Thanksgiving to today instead.
