According to the Chicago Tribune, some believe the White Sox will make a push for Nomar after getting outbid for Omar Vizquel's services. If you remember, the White Sox tried to trade for Garciaparra last offseason. We found this Peter Gammons tidbit worth noting: "Those who want to put Nomar Garciaparra in a time capsule should note that in the last two seasons -- yes, including 2004 -- he is first among shortstops in OPS and slugging and second in homers, batting average and total bases. If Seattle or Anaheim doesn't swoop in, it's a matter of how much he gets from the Cubs on a one-year, make-good contract."

I think he'll go with either (St-Louis, New York Y or CHicago WS)

I'll shave my head if we sign Nomar. :evillol
As much as I would like to see it happen,Kenny Williams won't spend that kind of money for any one,1 year or not.

We had our chance last year to get him.

Nomar is not worth the time.

I bet Nomar resigns with the Cubs.

OC will probably sign with the cubs not Nomar.
