Week 13 jottings:

-- The Broncos really blew it today. I think they are done unless San Diego chokes which I doubt it will happen. Chargers answered the bell today and I think that should be enough in the AFC West. You have to wonder about Shanahan's future in Denver. I think he will be parting ways with them after this year is over. Here's hoping the Dolphins get him. I am sure theCannon is enjoying this too.

-- Jets clinched a playoff spot with that win against Houston

-- Giants really blew it today against Washington. How they came out flat and uninspired is beyond me? Their playoff run took a hit for sure.

-- Some Giants fans and the NY media should lay off on Coughlin. He made the right decision to start Eli Manning now. Giants were not going anywhere so why not let Eli get his experience out of the way now. With that said, Eli needs to show the Giants and their fans something before the season is over.

-- This was a bad loss by the Ravens today against the Bengals. Baltimore needed this game badly. Now they are on the outside looking in.

-- Has anyone noticed how well the Bills are playing?

-- Is Jeff Garcia that bad that Luke McCown is the Browns QB now?

-- Can Carolina somehow make the playoffs in a very weak NFC?

-- Vikings will likely make the playoffs, but do you trust them against the Packers at Lambeau. I don't think so. They stink outdoors.

-- So much for Green Bay scaring Philly, eh.
:evillol

-- Can Peyton top him performance the following week?

-- Big game for the Seahawks on Monday Night Football. They need this game very badly against an awful Cowboys team.

-- Denny Green is really smart starting John Navarre. His mishandling of the QBs has cost the Cardinals a playoff spot. Of course with Denny being Denny, he will be so stubborn about not starting Josh McCown who should be starting.

Jeff Garcia is hurt. I've heard some sources said he could have played, but he's no Brett Favre, and interim coach Robiskie felt that a 100% McCown was a better play than an injured Garcia. If Garcia was anywhere close to playable he would have been in there.

TRoy Brown now has more INT's this year than Sam Madison, Charles Woodson, and Donnie Abraham combined.

I thought that was newsworthy. :smokin:
