MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Brewers have signed infielder Trent Durrington to a minor league contract that includes an invitation to Major League spring training, it was announced today by Executive Vice President and General Manager, Doug Melvin.
Durrington, 29, appeared in 53 games for Milwaukee in 2004 batting .232 with two home runs and four RBI. He also played in 51 games at Triple A Indianapolis where he hit .222 with home run and nine RBI.
The Brewers originally signed the Australian utility man as a minor league free agent on November 7, 2003.
