Well it looks like the writing is on the wall and Tice can read it.... That is my take on it what is yours???

Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Tice said that there are two or three college football jobs that could lure him from the NFL, according to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer.

"Certainly (Washington) would be one of those," he said. "I feel I gave you enough ammo right there to read between the lines, as they say. Who wouldn't want to come home?"
Tice, who played 10 of his 14 seasons in the NFL with the Seattle Seahawks, said he hadn't been contacted yet by the Pac-10 school. He did however sound as if he'd be interested in speaking with Huskies AD Todd Turner about the position.

"Wouldn't it be a lifelong dream to be able to work in the city where my two children were born?" he said "But I have a job here, and I'm under contract until Jan. 31, and I want to finish the job I started here."

The Vikings are 7-5 currently, and if they don't make the playoffs, Tice could be available Jan. 2, the last day of the NFL regular season.

Tice doesn't have any college coaching experience, but could bring along current Vikings offensive coordinator Scott Linehan to Washington, where Linehan was as assistant from 1994-1998.

Tice is still considered a long shot at best for the position, with two other confirmed candidates being fired Notre Dame coach Tyrone Willingham and former Boston College coach Tom O'Brien.

Well if he does not have his team in the playoffs, he might as well polish his resume for a university job. You know? He may be a better fit in college than pros.
