Charlie Weis has been waiting for this opportunity for years. And he knows just what he needs to do now that he has it. Weis, introduced as Notre Dame's new coach on Monday, says his job is simple: raise expectations and win.

As I said in the other thread, I wonder if Notre Dame is going to give him more than the three years they gave Willingham to meet their expectations? If not, expect the revolving door to continue and it will become increasingly difficult for this once proud program to attact a top coach.

YD I think that is the problem with all college programs today. You got to win RIGHT NOW!!!! They dont care if they have crap to work with they expect you to do it with crap. I guess that is from hiring people that dont know crap about sports just about the $$$$$$$$ that those empty seats aint bring in.
It is sad but a evil of todays sport. I know you know about Husker football what do you think would happen to Tom Osborne if he started coaching now. No way he makes it threw his first 5 years that he went threw with Nebraska....
