with marc bulger out yet another week, i have the options of david carr or patrick ramsey. carr is facing a tough chicago defense while ramsey is facing the joke of the 49ers. (being a redskins fan, i try not to be biased but this has to mean a decent game for ramsey at least) advice? in another issue, i have RB's portis, jamal lewis, fred taylor, and thomas jones, and chester taylor who def wont play for me this week. portis is in for sure, but now should i even consider jamal lewis against the weak defense of the colts even though he'll only take about 2/3 of the snaps? im thinking to go with fred taylor against a weak defense in green bay.

I'd say Carr just because Ramsey sucks but you might want to get other opinions on that.

I think it's a coin flip. I really haven't seen Ramsey this year other than in highlights. Carr just doesn't seem to bright out there a lot of times, and ditto times three for whoever calls the plays for the Houston Cows. I think I'd take a gamble on Ramsey. At least he seems to have a better chance to have a better day than Carr.

Defense Question: It's our league semi finals this week, and my third trip to the semi's in 5 years. My lineup is pretty easy to pick except for the fact I'm struggling with my defense this time ---

Denver @ Kansas City
Washington @ San Francisco
Carolina @ Atlanta

I've been using the Denver D most of the time this season. But I'm really leaning towards the Redskins this week on the road against the 49ers. Any thoughts or ideas on that are greatly appreciated.

as a redskins fan, i can't say that i'm not biased but i know this for a fact, the redskins defense is simply one of the best in the league. they are either 2 or 3 overall im pretty sure. dont let their team's record fool you, their defense is top notch. id go with them. also koz, im curious y u think ramsey "sucks"? last year was mostly not his fault it was a terrible o-line and this year he has done well in the last few games since finally getting the job from brunell.

I'm looking at Ramsey's TD/INT ratio.

Carr is the better one of the two but he isn't a great pick.

I would take a look at the Available QB's. If Boller,Collins,Volek or Chandler are not tolken yet. Any of them may be a better play this week.

Ramsey might be a better bet. The 49ers are shakey on D.

The Redskins are a better play on D. KC vs. Den could be a shootout.
