The Tigers appear to be the front-runners to acquire free agent outfielder J.D. Drew, who hit .305 with 31 home runs and 93 RBI for the Braves last season. He rejected the Braves' offer of a three-year, $25 million deal in November. J.D. is coming off his first season without a stint on the disabled list.

The Tigers have been big spenders during the last two off-seasons and Drew would be a huge addition to their outfield. If healthy he is one of the top 20 outfielders in fantasy baseball.
