Pretty clear cut here.....
If the answer is yes, then we can continue to the other voting...
If no, why bother??

Just another thought, if apparently no one can agree on anything why don't we just start over, from scratch.....Begin rules discussions and such right now have everything set in stone and start the keeper league THIS year, with no way to whine or complain, or cheat or argue.....well not entirely but a lot less of.....
IF everything is set in stone, there is documentation to back things up then maybe we can coexists and all be happy.....Any ideas, thoughts about this, I know one owner has this similar view any others....
Or maybe just cut to like 3 keepers and a Rookie from our current squads and scrap all DL's and no more trades......
Just needs to be resolved and let the league continue....

I don't want to see us start over. A trade gone bad and some name calling shouldn't keep those of us who have worked within the rules left with nothing to show for it.

I think it should continue. It's not worth it to quit now.
However, I wouldn't mind seeing the league start over. That would eliminate all problems with the teams. An owner can't complain if they drafted the team. It also would allow the new members in the league (Jesse, James, Don, Brian, myself, and anyone else I missed) to be able to control their own team instead of controlling what was being given to them.
Starting over would also be more fair to whoever inherited the 19th team (Dave? Not sure on this). That team has no chance to compete, and starting over would allow that team to be at least more competitive.

we absolutely should not start over if we are going to do this. If that happens, then basically the past several months were a waste of my time. No offense to the new owners, but y'all knew coming in that for some of you it would be an uphill battle. Each season, we will probably lose managers. We can't start over every time that happens. I am fed up with all the garbage going on, yes... but be forwarned, that if the league starts over, I more than likely will not participate. The only reason I stayed in this league this season was because of the work put into it last season. I too, did not draft my team as I was not here for the draft due to computer problems. But i also did not draft ANY of 12 teams last season. I'm not complaining about it. I worked with the hand I was dealt, as should everyone else.

how is that fair though, jesse?? How is it fair to penalize 15 teams in order to make it "more fair" for the newcomers?

i wasnt thinking of me. i was thinking if it was a clean slate some of the nonsense would not be such an issue.

Shawn I suggested it first, so leave the new guys out of this, I just think some of this is getting out of hand and a new start for everybody could be good, YOU REALLY THINK I WANT TO HONESTLY START OVER?????? AROD, VLAD, and CHIPPER, no....

Shawn you had all of last year to improve the team. The new owners had all of three months at the most, some a few weeks.
There's a lot more new owners than 5 teams here. Karl is new to the league, and so is someone else who I am forgetting. When 35% of the teams in a league just have a team thrown their way, they are at an unfair advantage.
It also seems it was assumed moosehunters quit, yet he wanted to join. So now he is out of a team.
There are some problems in this league that need to be worked out. Starting over would solve most of them.
And with this current system, there is no way I can ever win this league when Nate has the keepers he does. Really there's only 4 or 5 teams that have a shot at winning the league. The rest are playing for second place.

I'd be inclined to give moosehunters my team at this point....

James, that wouldn't be fair to moose. You can't deny a person a team when he wanted to stay active and then give him the team he wasn't responsible for. That's not fair to moose.

Dustin, I do not believe that it was ME who brought up about the new guys first. I believe that was Josh..,. so get the hell off my back. Like I said, if this league starts over, I'm done. It's not fair to those of us who have been here.. and put the time in to make out team what it was (mine was a 14th place team at that...) I stayed in this league because I felt I had a chance to improve on my standing this year with a few players returning. It certainly was not because of the extremely electrifying personalities.

Gee Josh, I imagine that it wasn't really fair to not include him in the first place...At least I was offering him a spot...What does he have now???
NOTHING!!!!

I agree with Shawn. The purpose of a keeper league is to "build" a team. If you decided to start over, that wouldn't be fair to the majority of participants here. IMO, it's really their league. I was just invited along for the ride.
Having said all of that, please consider this my resignation from the league. You've all been great to me, but it's obvious we aren't making any progress here.

It looks like most people want to continue the keeper league. I started this league and feel very bad for where it has gone. If I am the major problem, I will drop out if you want me too. The vote is 10-7 for me to stay. Good thing there are only 20 teams! Dont take this as me quiting, I want to play agian, but dont want the whole league to go down the drain over my trade.
