I thought they needed to boost their starting rotation, they've got bullpen help, but are the infield and outfield positions set?

What about the bats? Is there enough offense?

Last season proved that the bats are much improved but I suppose they could use one or two more. But they really need a dependable starting rotation.

Thanks Koz. I am curious. This team is curious. They seem to have some good talent in place, some good potential. Guess we'll have to see if they can get any good signings. Hopefully Derek Lowe is still on the radar screen for them?

The Tigers need, at least, one outfielder with a good bat. You could argue that they need three with Higginson and White on the last year of their contracts and Sanchez just brutal in center. There is no help, Curtis Granderson aside, coming up through the farm, either.

Thirdbase is somewhat of a concern as well. Munson is gone and Inge hasn't proven he can hit year in and year out. Also, Inge is probably more valuable to the ballclub filling the utility role.

No, I don't think the Tigers have quite enough offense yet. One more big bat would really help.

Pitching, especially the bullpen, is a problem. I know I am in the minority amongst Tiger fans on this one, but while I would like a quality starter, I am not hoping for the Tigers to sign someone else's number three or four guy to be their number one.

Brining home Derek Lowe would be nice, but he cannot be paid ten million or more a season. Same with Odalis Perez. The Tigers can pay them like number one guys, but they aren't number one guys, imo.

Besides, the rotation of Bonderman, Maroth, Ledezma, Robertson and Johnson isn't the worst in baseball. They would be better with some quality bullpen help.

I'd like to see another one-inning set-up arm signed. Maybe even two more bullpen pitchers, one lefty, one righty, would be better. It would allow the Tigers young starters an opportunity to only have to pitch six innings before the 'pen takes over.

I read that they are going after Vazquez. They also need more speed in that park...

Javier Vazquez? That seems real strange from the DBacks perspective but would be great for the Tigers.

I read it on rotoworld. All the tigers can give is $ they have alot to give and the D backs have $ problems. The tigers need all the help they can get. I don't understand how the Indians can get good and they can't...

The Tigers had a fine season last year. Rebuilding takes time, they aren't going to go from worst to first in one season
