Are we going to turn this into a league? I really want to. If not does anyone know of any free sites that use prices?

If this becomes a league, I'll have to give away my team as I'm already in 3 leagues as it is which is plenty for me.

I'll play, but I don't want to do any of the commish work. A "minimal" transaction league would be good.... just need rules for getting free agents...
Or simply enter the numbers as a league, and DON'T allow transactions to see who wins :-)
If this turns out to not be a league... it would be worlds easier for me to be comfortable sharing strategies, as well as all the other owners. Or this could be a very fun real league... an upside and a downside but whatever happen's you can count on me being heavily involved

My vote would be to finish this league, do the AL and then do a ML draft and play that out. By then we all should have a good idea of what we are doing. I have not done this kind of draft before and need some practice. I would volunteer to set up a ML draft league to play out. It would have to be somewhere other than Yahoo. I have 3 teams there and can only do 1 more and that will be the Mod league if it goes.

I have a pretty fulla slate (4 leagues). Not sure if I can commit to another league. Although teaching you folks the finer aspects of fantasy baseball would be my pleasure.

i agree with nate dogg, then iif someone cant own another team they can just not join. Plus i have the worlds crappiest team, since i over spent, at least by then ill have a good idea of what to do.

Set it up and see how it plays out? Just check at the end and see who won? How about that... just so people can actually see what strategy worked out best?

I think its official.
We're doing this for educational purposes mainly. We will do the AL auction the same way.
Then, if we have enough interest, we can find owners to do a Mixed League auction, and play it out.

Sure if someone wanted to take the rosters and plug them into a Yahoo league (free) just to see how it plays out that might be educational for some.

You mean like all inactive owners? Never making roster changes, or adding free agents?
Let the auction play itself out.

If I do this, it cant be on yahoo. I also would only wnat owners who want to participate in the league. Make trades, WW pickups and maybe even make it a keeper league. You can keep 3 players at their currant sallary.

Like any league I suppose the owners will be as active as they wanna be...I would like to see the option of trading and picking up players (I wont have time to do much but I plan on having extra closers for sale) :angel2:
