Delgado has more pop, Beltran has more speed.. The big advantage with Beltran IMO is that he is 5 years younger....

Agreed, but as I have said before, someone is going to overpay and he was the premier FA on the market so I am happy he signed with us...

The answer to your last question is no, I can not fathom us getting Delgado now as I can't imagine them paying anymore salary and he will warrant a huge contract...

In a way I hope we don't get Delgado. I'm always arguing with Skankee fans how Georgie Boy rolls over fair competition by buying a winning team. So if the Mets continue to spend, spend, spend, I'll have to come up with a new arguement to hate the Skankees!! lol
