02.27 (OF) TB A back specialist recommended Tuesday that Josh Hamilton doesn't need back surgery, according to the Tampa Tribune. However, he couldn't tell Hamilton exactly what is wrong with his ailing back, so he will continue rehab. Tampa GM Chuck LaMar said he expects Hamilton to begin working out at minor league spring training in about 10 days.
