Lori and I break up....
I spend 4 days in the hospital... and countless trips to the doctor trying to find out what is wrong with my kidneys...
Lose out on 8 days of work already this month...
Have to miss another tomorrow because my aunt died and the funeral is tomorrow...
Missed one today because my car died... (although i think i brought it back to life...)

well, I understand though too why they have to charge what they do. In the past 5 years, the cost of malpractice insurance has gone so high that a lot of doctors have had to stop practicing. The remaining ones have to keep prices high enough to operate AND make a profit. That doesnt mean that I have to like it, though.

the malpractice lawsuits are a topic all bythemselves. I dont want to lead this discussion away from its original topic, but i gotta put this in here:
stop suing doctors for stuff that isnt their godamn fault!!!
some of the lawsuits are because they have like...an ugly scar on their leg where the doctor just fixed a bloodclot that would have killed the patient.
"but now i have been scarred for life, and the emotional damage caused by this scar is leading me towards depression. I'm suing him for 20 billion." What the hell!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
if anyone's seen the incredibles...thats exactly what they talk about int he beginning when they sue superheroes for damages to their proporty, and to themselves. they just saved your lives douchebags, be freaking happy!
