Well to all you baseball players, I was wondering what kind of work out you guyz must do to be a good infielder. Here are some types of work outs and exercises but not completely sure if it benfits to the certain training of a infielder. Please tell me if it is benifitial to an infielder and if I haven't got one on my list, please by free to post some exercises...maybe one with the medicine ball. But anyways:
Bench Press
Pull-ups
Back-Extensions
Single arm row
Sit ups
Push up
Leg Press
Lateral Raise
Squats
Seated dunbell shoulder press
tricep dips
pictoral fly machine
Dunbell seated bicep curl
crunches
Row machine
Treadmill

Any of those should bee good to go but the most important thing along with those is stretching... Stretch stretch stretch...

But for throwing a baseball get on the cable extensions and grab a rope above your shoulder and take your arm and throw the rope you are holding on to as you would a ball. But dont throw it and do it slow so you go through the motion and get the strength. And do both sides I have worked out with guys that only do one side and look all-lopsided...

Work Abs legs and triceps...

Yes, I know most of them are good, but I don't know which ones are the most benifitial and for the most benfitial ones, which muscle must it help and how would if benfit you in a game.

Abs legs deal with mostly hitting....

Other than that doing a bench press wont help jack with you fielding a one hoper in your bread basket....

That is just practice and practice and practice... Stretching will help you get to balls that some might not get to but lifting wont make you a better infielder....

The cable pull down I told you will help with your throwing but that is it...

Yes I agree lifting weight won't help you too much when you are a infielder, but doens't leg press or some type of leg excercise help you run faster or react better to a slow roller or somethin'?

Uh no not really....

Want to run faster the Cowboys football team would put there players in sling shots like things and then let it go and they said it made them run faster.... Or there is the running while dragging someone behind you thing....

Everyone tries the run faster thing but I dont think any of that trash works. You got the speed that you have...

Reaction is based on replication only... Keep having someone with a fungo bat hit balls at you about 15 feet away and field it with a small glove and you will become a great infielder...
