Yesterday they signed Alfonso Soriano to a 1 year $7Million+ deal that will give him a $2Million raise over his pay from last year. I think they are still wanting to deal him, but this may make it harder to do. If he lights it up from the start of the season, I could see him going elsewhere at the trade deadline this upcoming season.
We shall see.

They did it again with Gary Matthews Jr yesterday. He was signed to a 1 year deal worth a little over $1Million.
I think they have just one more player, Almanzar I think is still up for Arbitration.
Anyone think Clemens asking price for Arbitration was way too much? Just right?

Well John Hart must not like that Arbitration thing, he signed the last guy on our team that was eligible. Carlos Almanzar got $1.1Million for 1 year. That locks up everyone!!!
We also signed DeRosa(formerly of the Braves) to a Minor league deal with a invite to Spring Training. He might be a valuable back-up if he comes back from the injuries of last year. Good Utility guy.
