Paul Loduca
Well yeah, it's a homey bid @ $29 but with both Piazza and Kendall already gone and Lopez and his suspect knee I went much deeper than normal to get what I felt was the last really decent high upside catcher.

catcher
Tom Lamkin
$2 He wouldn't be a bargain at 50 cents but that agressive spending up front caught up with me. Maybe he won't get many at bats and the BA wouldn't then kill me.

1B
Jeff Bagwell
Kinda betting on the come and a return to form after some winter surgery here. Pricey at $46 but I'm blaming Bull for setting the bar so high on Helton.

2B
Luis Castillo
@$29 again a bit pricey but I like the upside. This guy is freaky fast and he is just as likely to rip off 70SB's as any of the other speed demons. I'm knocking on wood as I speak as health will be the key.

SS
Adam Everett
Well if he does win a job I'm not sure he can earn the $5 investment but I guess there are worse alternative sleepers.
At least taking a sleeper at SS in the NL is a decent play.

3B
Aramis Ramirez
Well I'm sure I wasn't the only big bidder on Chipper and this was my plan B. To pricey at $36 but I'm hoping that last season was the first of many more big years for this youngster.

CI
Matt dam Williams
Broken leg and all. 2nd half comeback? One can always hope but at $2 in my financial condition he has to be a bargain even in a cast!

MI

OF
Bobby Abreu
I'll have to admit to being a bit shell shocked after getting skunked in the first round and that wasn't going to happen twice. But at least he's a goodun and I like the Phils this year.

OF
BJ Suroff
For $2! Hey that could be a bargain especially if he gets dealt. If not, oh well....

OF
Dante Bichetter
For $2! Hey that could be a bargain especially if he wins a job!

OF
Ront Gant
One thin dollar! Hey that could be a bargain! NOT!!!

OF
Ray Lankford
Hey for a buck you have to like him as a bargain. If only the skills do not degrade even further this could be the best bargain on my team.

UT
Andres Galaraga
Not the Cat of old but still has some stick. Now where can he find some work? For a buck, a minor bargain at best.

P
Matt Morris
Well I hate gambling big money on starters but after UNIT @ $51, Brown @ $45 and Schilling @ $36 got swept up cleanly in the earlier rounds I felt I had to plunge a bit on the best SP available. He was plan B for me in case my big bid on Unit went down the tubes and it did.

P
Matt Herges
Jeez $15 for a guy that you can only pray will be a closer. Not a good thing. I doubled my Matt's at least!

P
Spooneybarger
Hey for $4 he has a great baseball name but I fear he is more suited for a keeper league.

P
Mark Lincoln
Well hopefully that 6.23 ERA will come down closer to a 5.00 but that may be a big stretch. At $2 and and not even worth $.50 his numbers will hurt. Are there anymore Matt's left?

P
Nelson Figueroa
Different story here and maybe well worth the $3 investment. For the first 3 and a half months his ERA was hanging around 3.50 and with a bit of experience under his belt hopefully he can keep it under 4.00 for the year. Another Philly on either the cusp or the bust!

P
Brett Prinz
Well if he is healthy that $2 bid looks very good for the potential value. After Kim's bust in the Series and Mantei's still questionable health I could see 10 or more saves and some real nice numbers to go with them.

P
Brett Tomko
Even at a buck this is a stretch!
