:wavey: Hi Cyn! How are you today? Hope you all are having a great day! I unfortunately have to work 1-11 today, but I do have some excellent news! I applied for a transfer with Community Living, to a different house with a better block of hours and I got it! :clap: so instead of working 3-11 everyday, and hardly ever being able to see Nick, I will be working thursday 6pm-12am, friday 10am-6pm, saturday 9:30am-5:30pm, and sunday 10am-4pm. Only 28 hours but I still have monday's and tuesdays with Sammy. So I will only be working one - two evenings a week maxium! I will be able to go out and see Nick and my friends and actually have a life again!! :clap: Plus there is a deafblind man named Ashley in my new house! That's my speacialty!! I am so excited about that and so is my new manager because apparently other than one full time staff there, no one has ever had any experience with deafblindness before and definately have not had any training! So she's hoping I will be able to teach some of my new co-workers a thing or two. I am super excited! :D

Good day going here... My Boss walked in and said he told the company manager to give me a raise or a truck...

So I got a truck!!!

Not very windy here today!!! And getting in the 50's!!!! Good looking day all around today!!! Going out to eat tonight and then Sat I got to chop wood and pick up dog poo.... There is going to be a bucket full or two!!!! Clean on the garage some and get ready as Dan said to sit down and watch some football on Sunday!!!

I just got hooked up with DSL also at home!!!! After 3 years they got it out to where I live!!! No more dial up for this guy!!!!

I just got back from doing some shopping.It's panic time out here right now as we're supposed to get anywhere from 8-15 inches of snow tonight. :angry:

i had heard 6-10 inches, eric. but its not supposed to start until late evening (like heavy stuff after 9pm)

I heard up to 15 inches up north,but I'm going with what Tom Skilling says,around 8 inches in NW Indiana and about 10 inches in the city.

Oh, dear. Friday's almost over.

I've spent 3 days with a head cold like you cannot believe. :( I have never been this stuffed up. :angry: My head has felt like it's going to explode!!! Yuck. I'm not used to being sick. It's making me very cranky. Yesterday I finally got some Nyquil, but after you wake up in the morning, as the day goes on, you get as stuffed up as you were before you took the Nyquil the night before. :angry: So I'm just trying to blow the crap out of my nose........ which is plugging up my ears.

An old fashioned head-cold, I guess....... :( Again I say "yuck"..... YUCK!!

Plus, I was so cranky, I had an all-out "loud discussion" with my stupid neighbor. I was trying to sleep, and she starts with the music so loud it was making my walls vibrate. :Pissed: I went and knocked on her door...... several times, because the music was so loud she couldn't hear me knocking.

Then we had our discussion. :hmm:

We're at an impasse. Because she doesn't think the music is loud. :hmm: Geez. I told her to come over and listen to it in my apartment. She said she'd already done that. :eek: Well, first of all, it was her mother, not her, and they had turned it down when her mother walked into my apartment.

So I said, "Fine." She slammed her door, I marched down to the management office, and said, "She just doesn't understand. She doesn't think it's loud. Can I move to another studio apartment?" The woman in the office said she'd talk to her.

For God's, sake. She's stupid. She's never going to get it. I'm going to spend my life in my own apartment with "noise abatement" headphones. :hmm:

snow effin sucks. especially driving at night in the shit. and they said it was supposed to be flurries until 9pm (when the blizzard would hit) not EFFIN 7 pm!!! :bonehead

after i stopped for food, it took me 15 minutes to drive the last 3 miles to my parents place as i was driving 15 mph in a 45 mph zone cuz i couldnt see anything. :(

we've already had about 3" up here in kenosha. Shovel number one taken care of. Shovel Number two will happen early saturday morning with Shovel Number Three probably at noon. :(
