With Illinios still atop the rankings for the 8th straight week. The Illini have a much bigger foe than anyone else outside of Wisconsin,Iowa, and the rest of the Big Ten. It's the RPI,the controversial computer rankings system that ranks teams based on strenght of schedule, opponents average winning percentage, and opponents' opponents winning percentage.

Right now,the Illini are ranked 6th on the RPI. #1 is Kansas, who got blown out by Villanova(#21 in RPI).The thing that puts Illinios down in the RPI is thier strength of schedule, they are ranked 63rd in strenght of schedule. That's the 3rd lowest number among the RPI top 20,only ahead of Vermont(83),Utah(85),and Syracuse(98).

Boston College is ranked 4th on the RPI Index with a strenght of schedule ranking of 46.

If you want to check out the RPI numbers,go here for the list. (www.kenpom.com/rpi.php)

Illinois is the best team still. They will get a #1 seed if they can win all but a few. Nothing to worry about.

A #1 seed for Illinois would be awesome,as long as it's in the Midwest. They would only have to travel to Indianapolis for the 1st and 2nd rounds, then if they get to the Sweet 16,they would be in the Chicago Regional.
