Feb. 2 Aubrey Huff (3B) TB has been mentioned in trade rumors all winter, but it's looking more and more likely that he will still be on the Devil Rays come opening day.

You better get something amazing for Huff... I mean, chew on it this way, we aren't JUST talking about a future 40HR power source, but so far Huff IS the Tampa Bay franchise.

Of all the vaunted youngsters they have had and still do have, only Aubrey has actually made it to stardom. He might not have the upside, flash, or physical talent that the names Hamilton, Nash, Crawford, Baldelli, Kazmir, Upton, Young, Niemann, etc conjure up... but as of right now he is the first to put it all together and is the face of the whole franchise.

The Pirates have apparently approached the Rays about Huff..

I think it will take a lot for the Rays to give him up..

He is a bargain at the moment only making 4.75 million this season and 6.75 million next year...

Orange,

Damn right he's the franchise. Only Crawford and Rocco are close to his importance.
