I heard part of the news conference on ESPN Radio. Emmitt got very choked up and was crying when talking about how much Jerry Jones has meant to him. Good stuff. :)

Yeah it was. They played it on Sports Center tonight.

He signed a 1-day contract with the Cowboys so that he can retire a Cowboy.

I'm sad to see Emmitt go. Maybe one day he will coach. I hate to say it again, but he is a real class act. There arent many better running backs in history. Ahem barry sanders

I dont know if he will coach. Most stars players dont make good coachs, just a fact of history. But I think he could be a great guy to have in a ownership state like he is thinking of getting in with the Vikings (and hope he does) just because he knows what goes and knows who could be the best people to have put in place to make a winner...

I never thought he was a good RB I always thought that he was made just because of the line he ran behind. But this year with the Cards as a old man running for 900+ yards made me see that he was a good RB.

I always tought he was a class act and loved to see when he scored a TD he would just walk off the field. He been there and he expected to be back. Never nothing flashy just get the job done and get ready to work again...
