anyone get into a superbowl pool this year? We have one in out office, but its pretty cheap. two bucks a square with 40 buck payouts for the first 3 quarters and 60 bucks for the last quarter.

and of course the final score winner buys donuts for the office. :(

i bought 3 squares and i got stuck with combos of 2/6, 1/2, and 9/1. crap!!

Yeah, I got in one. $5/square and I bought two. I got numbers 1/1 and 7/7. Not bad!

No, I'm just due. I've been in on these pools for like ten years and have NEVER won a quarter.

I did win an NCAA tournament pool once. $325. CHA-CHING!

You know, I'm kind of disappointed this year. Not as many office squares. :(

We do some at our party, but still. :(

yeeeeeeeouch!!!

we had a NCAA pool last year that was 50 bucks a square, but it wasnt just for the winner. it was for each round (increasing prizes per round). there was a group of us that split it 10 ways and i ended up winning 20 bucks for the tournament.

Hmm, I bought 3 for 5 bucks a piece, hopefully someone tells me when I win, becuase I'll be busy getting wasted. :)

I had my MNF roll over box, 2 $500 boxes that I split with 4 other people (so then it would be only $200 a piece) and $30 worth of boxes at work.
So:
MNF box-$300 (which I won NOTHING on all Football season)
SB Boxes-$200
Work boxes-$30
----------------
$530

I ended up winning on one of the $500 boxes on a score change in the 4th quarter-$1500 (split 5 ways)


My take $300

So I was $230 behind the 8 ball.

I need to stop betting on Football. :tongue:
