The Devil Rays are close to signing Denny Neagle to a minor league contract.
Used to be kind of famous? Neagle won't have as good of a chance of winning a rotation spot as Hideo Nomo, but he will enter the mix.

He just had major arm surgury at the start of last year so he might still be on the mend....

No Vin he didnt hang them up he got caught with a lady of the night in Denver so the Rox let him go...

Devil Rays signed LHP Denny Neagle to a minor league contract and invited him to spring training.
Neagle's chances of making the Rays only decreased with the Casey Fossum acquisition. He probably won't be carried as a reliever, so he's going to have to win a rotation spot.
