Trade rumors

So I'm hearing unconfirmed rumors that the Tribe will trade Jody Gerut, Billy Traber, and a prospect to Colorado for Shawn Chacon, a player who's name I've forgotten, and a prospect.

Gerut and Traber are guys who will soon be passed on the depth charts anyway, and won't play for Cleveland because of injuries or just aren't good enough, so trading them is fine even though Jody was one of my favorites, but for Chacon, I don't know if I like it.

Chacon had a great first half a couple of years ago, but I think it was a fluke. I'm not convinced that Traber's through, and although Jody didn't hit well enough to play last season, he was a pretty good hitter his rookie season, and he can play gold-glove caliber defense at any of the three positions. I don't like this trade.

I thought the tribe let traber go, and the then the sox let him go, and then no one picked him up.....
