It happened while I was visiting this site on Friday night. Hopefully a computer geek I know can re-install everything tomorrow. I don't know if I got a virus or what.

Do you have anything that finds and removes adware and spyware? That helps a lot.

Here's what happened. I logged on here, and the screen froze. I thought nothing of it, I waited, and it never unfroze, so I turned my computer off, but it wouldn't turn off, then I got a message saying Windows has been violated and damaged. Then, I unplugged the computer to turn it off, then when I turned it back on, it said Windows has been violated again, re-install.

You should never unplug your computer like that. You can shut it down by pressing and keeping your finger on the power button until it shuts down, usually takes about 3 seconds. Its alot safer than unplugging it. Man, I hate it when my computer is on the fritz. Im sorry PP.

Windows XP is so easy to install, you just have to sit back and wait. Now, I dont know if anyone has ever freshly installed Windows 2000, thats a pain in the arsh.
