What's the deal with Welsch? Please tell me he's a good shooter. This trade doesn't make a lot of sense, didn't Welsch play quality minutes for the team, why would they trade him?

Very good trade for you. Lebron will get this guy the ball. With Ricky Davis playing so well, we didn't have a spot for him, and he was griping. We got robbed on this. A freakin 2007 pick? I could be dead by then. :angry:

I like him too. I still hate Ainge, regardless. Welsch is a great spot up shooter. Can shoot anywhere on the court, great passer, but can lose control with any defender faster than him. Great guy overall. We basically had to same problem that the Mavs had, too many great shooters on the team, not enough balls to go around, that is why Welsch is gone. Especially with the emerging Tony Allen.

I don't get Ainge. He got some great young talent, Allen, Jefferson, West, etc..but he won't trade Pierce for more. :notme: Then he trades Welsh.

Wtf? Rebuild all the way, or not at all.

OK thanks for the info, good to hear he's a good shooter, that's probably all they'll want him to do.

Does any one else think that Boston and Cleveland trade to much with each other? Hasn't there been like 4 trades between our two teams in the last couple of years?

People underestimate the value of a first round pick. Who cares about Welsh? That first rounder will do us more good then he will.

By 2007 the Cavs should be in the Finals, if not, Paxson has done something horribly wrong. So the first rounder will likely be in the range of 25-30.
