I'm considering either Eric Milton or Christian Guzman for my next draft pick.

My starters are: Kerry Wood, Matt Morris, Tom Glavine, Jason Schmidt and Rick Ankiel. My relievers are: Rob Nen, Matt Anderson and Antonio Alfonseca.
My hitters are: OF-Sammy Sosa, Luis Gonzalez, Shawn Green, Jose Cruz Jr.
IF-Nomar Garciaparra, Jimmy Rollins, Aramis Ramirez and Catcher Jorge Posada.

My glarring holes are 1B and 2B but I can fill them easily enough with Tony Clark, Fred McGriff, Paul Konerko, John Olerud, Dmitri Young, Jeff Conine, or Tino Martinez at 1B, and planned to take Marcus Giles or Abernathy (TB) at 2B and hope for the best.

So I was thinking about taking one of the better players left at the skill positions as utility players-Guzman would make nice trade bait if Nomar stays healthy for me. Anyone disagree or have any special insight into the make up of my team?

I think Milton is the best Starter left from a few I'm watching (Appier, Jeff Weaver, Bud Smith, Chris Carpenter, Ben Sheets, Ryan Dempster) so maybe the best thing is to grab him...regardless I think I'm in good shape..just wanted to hear opinions. My league drafts 25 players (10 pitchers and 15 hitters) the points are run roto style with the categories being: BA, HR, RBI, SB, Runs, K's ... And pitchers they are: Wins, Losses, Saves, K/9, ERA WHIP

Thanks for any help

I'd take Guzman and grab Weaver next round if he's still there.

I agree... In my mind Guzman has more value then Milton.

Personally I think Milton might have more value. While he's been prone to giving up the long-ball and his record might suffer a little being with the Twinkies , I think he's on the verge of a break out year. Guzman is a decent ss with promise but Milton is going to be , I think , a stud in this league for a long time.
