JUPITER, Fla. -- Howard Battle's two-run double off of Les Walrond was the difference Saturday as Montreal topped St. Louis, 4-2.
With the bases loaded and one out in the eighth, Battle hit a ground-rule double to left-center field to give the Expos their second straight win.
Starting pitchers Tomo Ohka and Woody Williams each gave up one run in two innings, but neither factored in the decision. The same two teams play again Sunday at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter.
