There's more to the Pac10 than what the numbers actually show. Washington is good. ASU in the first half were asleep being down by 20+ but came roaring back to force overtime. Huskies won though, 90-95.

AZ Wildcats advance, beating California. Channing Frye scored 22 as the top scorer for AZ. He's a bonafide star.

Looking forward to seeing AZ go up against Washington in the Final if they both get there. AZ needs to payback Washington for and earlier in the season loss.

AZ State = NIT for sure now. I also think UCLA is NIT with their loss to Oregon State.

I usually love watching this, but Oregon sucked this year and didn't make the tourny. :sigh:

Arizona advances to the Final after really crushing Oregon State earlier today. Final score 90 - 59 and scoring 50 points in the second half. Channing Frye again had the high points for the Wildcats and the scoring was split nicely throughout the team. The Wildcats look good for the Tourny and should get at the very least a #2 seed if not a #1 seed for the Dance.

AZ will play the winner of the Stanford/Washington semifinal. AZ and I would like to see Washington win so that AZ can exact its revenge on the Huskies for an earlier loss in the season. The Huskies are up 30-27 at the half.

I wish I can watch it, but I got Time Warner Cable here in NJ and Cablevision has ordered TWC not to air MSG Network and FSN NY due to a cable dispute. I wish I could have watched the Pac-10 Championship.

Timber, I didn't get to watch AZ beat Oregon State. They played the same time that the 'Cuse/UConn game was on. I was really bummed coz I love the Wildcats too. I hope to watch the Championship game today though. But for some reason FS New England shows alot of Pac10 games.

Well you will always get lot of Pac-10 games on FSN affiliates since FSN has the rights to air Pac-10 sports all year.

The Washington Huskies won its first Pac-10 post season title thanks to an 81-72 upset win over perennial power Arizona.

Nate Robinson scored all 6 of his second half points in the final 1:07 to lift the Huskies(27-5).They also used a 19-4 run in the final 5:12 to seal the deal after trailing by 6.

Robinson and Tre Simmons led Washington with 18 points each, and Jamaal Williams had 16 coming off the bench.

Arizona(27-6) was led by Salim Stoudamire with 37 points including 7 from the 3-point arc.He was selected tournament MVP.

Nate Robinson is one heckuva player. He's little but he's fast and he cuts into the "big trees" of Arizona with ease. This game was led most of the game by the Wildcats and then the Huskies came back and took charge of the game. Washington is a team to be watched. AZ didn't take this Husky team for granted and nor should anyone filling out their brackets.

Very good game. Salim answered Nate Robinson with 3 after 3. Nate's 3 point shot has a high arc while Salim's took a more direct root but his stroke is just ever so pretty. All net!

AZ probably won't get a #1 seed in the Tourny but personally being a fan of AZ, I don't mind. I think they should get a #2 seed and that is a good thing.

I'm glad the Huskies won. I always like to see new teams win. :cheer: :jump: :cheer:

What a job Lorenzo Romar has done in building that program in Washington.

Congrats to the Huskies

Question is, the Huskies should get a #1 seed in my opinion, now that UNC went down in the semi's yesterday. But because of the East Coast Bias, noone will seriously look at Washington. It's a shame really, because this Husky team has a real shot at winning the NCAA. They do deserve some respect.
