Yo Bostonians, what are you paying for gas? Just curious. I am paying $2.09 for 93 octane in Springfield. It's $2.33 where I live. I'm curious to see if Springfield and Boston gas prices are the same, or if you big city folk are paying a premium.
I filled up at $1.97 regular last nite. But I know here in Newton, its like $2.05 or something for regular. The last time I was in Vancouver, it was .97/liter. Its about 4 liters to a gallon. Its almost $4/gallon. I know its canadian $$, but the exchange rate doesnt make that much of a difference anymore, $1.20 CND to $1 USD. Plus, a dollar to them is like a dollar to us. So I tend not to complain that much.

I pay 2.18 for the cheap 87 octane (i will usually find a good cheap place halfway between my parents and chicago) and here in chicago we're getting buttrammed for 2.40 a gallon for the 87 octane. (its like 2.60 for premium)

I only pay attention for the sake of knowing. Whether it's $2.09 or $4.99, its not going to have the slightest impact on how many miles I drive
And WTF is this "litre" stuff Bob and Jen are talking about?

I dunno. I think they think we care about Canada? :notme:
:D
Seriously, I don't know, because the gas station by my house is full serve, so I just pay whatever they say, and never even look.
Full serve is the best. I love full serve.

I paid $1.89 the other day down in La Vernia, Texas. Not that any of y'all really care since y'all already are busy not caring about Canada

(oh, and by the way, there's over 200,000 cars on Nassau Island alone)

It should be cheaper for you once they drill the oil from your backyard, eh?

I paid $2.23 here last week.It has since dropped to $2.09 a gallon.
BTW,why are gas prices always rounded off to the nearest 9/10 of a cent? :notme:
I've always wondered about that.

I would think so. Well, that's what I'm hoping for anyway. It was only two years and a half years ago when gas was $.99 a gallon. :(

what people don't know is that we are still paying a lot less than all the people in europe. of course i remember as well when the gas was real cheap like 5 years ago when we came to America...i'm outraged as well :P

i know it was about 3.95 per gallon in New Zealand dollars for Octane 89. (that equates to about 3 bucks a gallon in US dollars)

I'm not sure on this, but ain't a lot of cars driven in Europe run off those small diesel engines that get about 40+ mpg? I'm just curious on this since I never travelled that far, and I'm not positive on what the ratio is between gas engines and diesel engines over there. Diesel is really popular up here, but it now costs a few cents more than regular unleaded gasoline.
