Ok, who do you guys think should win the mid season awards in the major catagories??

Here are mine:

N.L.
MVP: Luis Gonzalez
Cy Young: Randy Johnson
ROY: Albert Pujos


A.L.
MVP: Manny Ramirez
Cy Young: Pedro MArtinez
ROY: Suzuki

NL - Luis Gonzalez
AL - Manny Ramirez

Cy Young
NL - Curt Schilling
AL - Pedro Martinez

ROY
NL - Ben Sheets
AL - Ichiro Suzuki

Manager of the Year
NL - Don Baylor
AL - Lou Piniella

Clemens may edge out Pedro by seasons' end because of injuries. Pujols and Sheets both deserve NL ROY, but I took Sheets because he's pitching double digit wins with a top 10 ERA.

... then I think it is too early to post him as the Cy Young. His injuries have made him a much more human target out there and in fact have opened the Cy Young up to the other AL hurlers...

Cy Young:
AL - Tim Hudson (less wins than Clemens, but has a better ERA, WHIP, plus Clemens is getting 7.2 runs of run support while Hudson is only getting 4.2)
NL - Curt Schilling

MVP:
AL - Manny Ramirez (I can't even imagine where the Sox would be without him)
NL - Luis Gonzalez

Rookie of the Year:
AL - Ichiro Suzuki
NL - Albert Pujols

Manager of the Year:
AL - Jimy Williams
NL - Don Baylor

Actually this thread was more about 1st half awards, not so much for who you think will win the award at the end of the season...
