The A's used a 7-run 3rd inning to erase a 6-0 deficit as they outslugged the Texas Rangers 15-9 on Tuesday.
Starter Rich Harden picked up the win,despite getting shelled in the game.He pitched 4 innings,allowing 7 runs on 7 hits,walking 2,hitting a batter,1 homer allowed,and striking out 8 Rangers.
The A's sent 10 men to the plate in the 3rd inning where they plated 7 in the inning.The inning was highlighted by a 2-run double by Adam Melhuse,and a 2-run shot by Keith Ginter.
Melhuse drove in 4 runs in the game as part of a 14-hit attack.
