2 great games over this weekend provided some pretty impressive comebacks/chokes..

I was wondering if what you would consider each of these games?

Do you think Zona choked or that Illinois had a great comeback?

Do you think WVU choked or that Louisville had a great comeback?

I'm intrigued to see the opinions...

Louisville was a great comeback, pure and simple. WVU didnt choke, since Louisville was on its way back even in the first half. and its not as if WVU played badly at all in the 2nd half.

Zona choked, pure and simple. It was a great comeback by Illinois, BUT zona choked. you just cant blow a 15 point lead in under 4 minutes and not have it labelled as a classic choke job.

WVU did not choke, but it is hard to keep that kind of pace and shooting up for a whole game. Louisville was slowly getting back in that game a point at a time.

As for Illinois over Arizona, I like to call it a comeback :naughty: . Superior defense stepping up when needed and key players making key plays. However, 'zona did seem a little stunned by the situation and taken out of the game (in thier heads). It is like they just watched it happening and could not do anything about it. I have watched almost every Illini game this year and was not surprised (exited and elated yes, but not surprised) that they finished the game the way they did.

Whatever you call it, a comeback or a choke is fine with me. I will take it :)

Whether or not it is a choke depends on who you're rooting for. If you're an Illinois or a Louisville fan, of course you would say they were great comebacks. It is all in the eye of the beholder.
