Etc.

Matt Holliday singled home two runs, giving him a team-most 12 RBI. He also leads the team with three stolen bases and seven doubles and is tied for the team lead with three home runs . . . Jamey Wright and Jeff Francis could start against each other in the Rockies' exhibition game at Colorado Springs on Saturday against their Class AAA affiliate . . . The Rockies put left-hander Matt Merricks on waivers. If he clears, they will assign him to Colorado Springs.
