In thier first game at the Coliseum this year,the Oakland A's took the finale of their annual pre-season Bay Bridge Series by a 3-1 margin.
Danny Haren pitched 6 strong innings for the A's,allowing a run on 5 hits and striking out 6 for the win.He finishes the spring 2-2.Octavio Dotel pitched a perfect 9th inning for the save.
The A's got the scoring started in the 2nd inning when Scott Hatteberg's single scored Eric Byrnes.
After Marquis Grissom homered to tie the game in the 5th,the A's pushed across 2 runs in the bottom of the frame,thanks to RBI singles by Eric Chavez and Charles Thomas.
