New team, same old problems for Byung-Hyun Kim.

The Texas Rangers spoiled Kim's debut with the Colorado Rockies, battering the newly acquired sidearmer for eight runs on six hits, including a pair of homers, in an 11-7 exhibition victory Friday.

The Rockies, with a hurting bullpen, are expected to give Kim a chance to take over as their closer, but he did nothing to impress his new team.

Great trade!!!!!! Heck ya just what this team needs another guy in the pen that can give up 8 runs in a inning!!!!!!

Any questions this is the worst team in baseball???? :loser:

It will be interesting how B.K. does at Coors. It's bad enough that he lack mental toughness as he was blowing saves for the D-Backs in the WS and then for the Red Sox. Obviously, the Rockies need a closer badly as you saw Jose Jimenez and Shawn Chacon flop the last two years. If Kim can get his act together and have some mental toughness, maybe it might work.

I would have went with Tsao or Javier Lopez as the closer. At least, this guy will throw strikes

Tsao is hurt. And Kim has never done well in Coors. Remember he was a snake so he has much time in Coors.
