I live along one of the subway lines that you can take if you want to go to the Bedpan. I was out this afternoon (went to see Monty Python's "Spamalot" -- FABULOUS!) and took the train home. The #4 is the train you take to the Bronx if you're coming from the East Side of Manhattan, and it's at the same station as the #5 and the #6. Anyway, I hopped on a #5 and was Yankee-fan free until I arrived at my stop. Well, I got off at my stop and saw at least a dozen people wearing Yankee gear WAITING FOR THE WRONG TRAIN ON THE WRONG TRACK. How big a fan can you possibly be if you're doing that?

And then I bumped into a couple of Red Sox fans and told them I'd be sitting at home with my World Championship sweatshirt on. Which is EXACTLY what I'm doing.
