Probables:

Game 1: Roy Halladay vs. Dewon Brazelton
Game 2: Gustavo Chacin vs. Scott Kazmir
Game 3: Josh Towers vs. Mark Hendrickson

Just to clear things up, Chacin is starting game 2 because the team would like David Bush to start the home opener. Also, the injury to Lilly has kind of screwed up the rotation a little bit, but hopefully it will be set soon.
Kazmir worries me the most out of those pitchers. He struggled last year since he was rushed to the majors, but he does have some great stuff. It should be interesting to see if Halladay can bounce back after a rough year, anyways, that is all, so have fun Monday!

I'm all geared up and ready to go! Only about 2 hours left until baseball season really begins.

I think the Jays will take 2 out of 3 in this series. I shall predict a 6-4 Jays' win today, ending Tampa's string of opening day victories.

Great start to the season. Halladay was sharp even though Brazelton gave up less hits, but it all came down to the long ball, where Hudson, Wells and Hinske homered, which scored all 5 runs in the 5-2 win. Somewhat of a surprise, since Ricciardi kept talking about the Jays small ball approach. Anyways, I'm working tomorrow, so I'll try to tune into the game on Wednesday.
Go Jays! 1-0

Great start to the year. When's the last time the Jays were in first place? :D

Game 2 goes to the Jays as well 6-3. Chacin pitched fairly well. No long balls for the Jays tonight.

2-for-2! Nice

I will be even more impressed if the Jays can beat the Red Sux this weekend.

AHHH!!!

I was very impressed with game 2, and I was about to be very impressed with game 3, and then Schoenweis and company took over, and the Jays blew their 5-2 lead.
Damnation, I guess 2 of 3 isnt bad, but three straight would have been nice, because the Jays can never start hot.

^ That guy's good. :D

I was sure the Jays were going to sweep today though. It's a shame the bullpen couldn't hold on.

I've been happy with the starting pitchers so far this year. We'll see how things go against a much better hitting team this weekend.
