Thought you Indian fans might be interested to know that Luke Scott and Willie Taveras made the Astro's roster and both will be in the opening day lineup. I got to see them both last season here in Round Rock and was impressed by Taveras's speed and defense. Great arm as well. I thought Scott needed to cut down on his strikeouts which he seems to have done.

Well that's good to hear. I didn't follow the farm system as much when they were still here, but I do remember that Taveras used to be an all speed guy, didn't bring much else to the table. Good to see he's improved enough to make it everyday.

It's his defense and arm as much as anything. The Astros need a good defensive CF with wheels, especially with Berkman coming back from knee surgery. Both Taveras and Scott have progressed nicely.

Me's think that the Tribe has a deap system. The Rox had Gonzlise last year as a rule 5 pick and he did great for the Rox... Look forward to seeing what he does this year.

The system is super deep, all of those guys who were selected o the last coupars in the Rule V draft weren't even in the Tribe's long term plans, very deep.
It's a lot easier to see these guys succeed now then it was 5 years ago, and easier to root for them too. When I look at who the Tribe has at the positions they would have filled, I'm not too sorry about the losses. So good luck to them, hopefully they'll make me miss them.
