Jennings, with a .257 career batting average, is the best hitter among baseball's pitchers. Jennings is 2-for-10 against Eaton, with both hits going for doubles. Eaton, who hit .203 last year and has a .195 career mark -- respectable for a pitcher -- is also 2-for-10, but with one double, against Jennings.

Jennings has dominated the series, going 3-1 with a 4.05 ERA, and even the ERA is deceiving. Jennings had held the Padres to one earned run on three occasions and just three on another until having his worst career start against the Padres -- 15 hits and nine runs in six innings of a 9-7 Colorado loss last July 20.

I'm going to pass on the game tonight, Shad. After a couple of weeks away from home, I've got a ton of stuff to catch up on - like paying bills and laundry, haha! Plus, I've sit through 10 games in the last 10 days, so I've got my baseball fix for while :D

I will have the game on the radio, I'm sure. I hope JJ can throw a good game - I'd like to see him get off with a good start to the season - at least do a little better than Kennedy did Monday.
