Colorado Rockies outfielder Dustan Mohr was placed on the 15-day disabled list Wednesday with a strained left calf, an injury that occurred during the team's victory celebration in its season opener.

As the players charged to the field to celebrate Clint Barmes' winning two-run homer that led Colorado to a 12-10 comeback victory Monday, Mohr was injured while jumping out of the Rockies' dugout.

Now come on I know this might be the only game you win all year so you are happy but you got to stretch out before you jump around....

Well, look at this way, Shad - Hawpe should get the start in RF for the next two weeks. He couldn't ask for a better chance to break into the starting lineup for good. I hope he can bust it up - I'm not a real big Mohr fan.

I was very happy that Hawpe made it and I thought it should have been his job from the start. I am looking at it that way Bill and I am with you I hope he can do a great job for the Rox and do so good that they have to keep him in there...
