The Colorado Rockies acquired left-handed reliever Bobby Seay from the Tampa Bay Devil Rays on Friday in exchange for minor league outfielder Reggie Taylor.
Seay was expected to join the Rockies on Saturday in San Francisco. The team did not immediately say who would be bumped from the roster to make room.
Seay has a 3.53 ERA and a 1-1 record over 44 2/3 innings in 45 major league appearances.
Taylor competed for a position in Colorado's outfield during spring training, hitting .265 in 13 games. He was reassigned to the team's farm camp on March 26.
Thank goodness. I cant think of any other move that could make this pen any worse so it could only make it better or the same.
