Justin Morneau had a second CT scan that showed no damage. Hit in the head by a pitch Wednesday, Morneau has been bothered by headaches and dizziness and unable to play.
He will be re-evaluated before Tuesday night's game against Detroit and is considered day-to-day. If he's still having problems, Morneau could be placed on the disabled list. But Ryan wasn't ready to do that yet.
"We'll see how he responds," Ryan said.
It can take some time to get over something like this. What I hope dont bother him is when a pitch comes inside now. But he is a hockey player and knows about getting plunked.

Actually, the hockey player might be what is working against him... once you get 1 concussion, the next concussion is easier to get... and so on.... I too am a hockey player, and have seen it happen to many of my teammates, and myself...the first one is always big...and the 3rd or 4th is weak in comparison

same in football, except it takes a little more to get ur first one than in hockey for some reason even though it doesn't sound right. Hope he pulls threw this tonight, I wanna see him get back out there.

I got you but what I ment is that he should know the signs and how to come back from it. It shouldnt all be new to him and him scared of the ball coming inside. Not that he would get over it quicker.

ya, i think he'll get over the ball coming inside pretty fast. getting hit by a ball is part of all pro level sports and they know that. im guessing his first couple of games will be pretty scatchy then after that he'll be good as new.

I am glad his CT scan went fine. Still it's dissapointing that he is going to miss some time. I was hoping he would be back this weekend.
Look for Terry Tiffee to be called up.
