I'm excited about San Diego's chances this year. I really like rookie Sean Burroughs. Phil Nevin should hit 40 or more homeruns with over 120 RBI's. He should be commended for moving over to first base without much resistance. The same for Ryan Klesko. Klesko needs another big year for the Padres to be noticed in the NL West. I like Bubba Trammell. He could be good for 20 to 25 homeruns. Starting pitching is a bit suspect, but with some luck the starting rotation will be able to hold its own. Bobby Jones had a rough year last season going 8-19, but if he can just pitch .500 ball that would be great for the Padres. 25 year old Brian Lawrence shows a lot of promise. The same with 24 year old Adam Eaton. As for the bullpen reliable Trevor Hoffman will be back. He had 43 saves last season with an ERA of 3.43. He's the closer for sure. Watch these Padres this year. They could be a Cinderella for sure.:bigsquare
