So the Jays have taken 2 of 3 in all three series to start the season. I think it was John Gibbons who said the goal of the team was try to take every series of the year. We're off to a good start, and I look forward to winning many series's this year, but right now its time to concentrate on this current 4 gamer with Texas. I'm a little bit concerned with the pitching in Arlington, but it's looked really good so far, so they just have to pick up where they left off. Even David Bush pitched well in the loss last night.

Probable Pitchers:
Roy Halladay (1-0, 4.85 ERA) vs. Pedro Astacio (0-0, 2.57 ERA)
Ted Lilly (0-0, 1.85 ERA) vs. Ryan Drese (0-1, 6.75 ERA)
Gustavo Chacin (2-0, 2.45 ERA) vs. Kenny Rogers (0-0, 2.77 ERA)
Josh Towers (1-0, 2.13) vs. Chris Young (0-1, 8.59)

Looking forward to see these guys pitch, and I am hoping I can finally see Chacin pitch instead of just highlights.

Roy Halladay is back. He pitched a complete game, and gave up just a run, 5 hits and a walk. He struck out 9 in the 2-1 win over Texas.

Even with tonight's loss (which I missed), I'm really enjoying the best start in about 10 years for the Jays.

Halladay was fantastic last night, Hinske has been amazing and the starting pitching, in general, has beeen a pleasant suprise. Now, if only Wells could start hitting. :D

I missed last nights game too. I was hoping to catch today's game too, because I'd really like to see Chacin pitch, but I work until 10, so he'll be gone by then. But I still might catch the end of the game. Go Jays!

Gustavo Chacin did it again. 8 innings of 2 hit shutout ball. This kid is unbelievable.

Texas won the final game, which means we didnt win this series, but we didnt lose it either. Towers got roughed up and was yanked after 2. However we did make it really close and came within one run in the 9th, but Francisco Cordero shut us down with a 1-2-3 inning for the 6-5 win. Boston next.

A split is more than fine.

Hard to take three out of four.
