Good News About Rox.

Being it is looking like a long season for the Rox I am going to find good things to post about with this team. There are a lot really but lets bring them up instead of being negative all the time.

I am going to start off with Pitching.

Shawn Chacon who was a disaster last year closing but an All-Star two years ago starting had a great start.

His first game he pick right off where he left off two years ago looking like a All-Star again.

Here is to a healty season Shawn. And stay out of that bullpen both ways!!!! :D

How can you not have a Good Rox thread without the best player in baseball being talked about in the first breath?

Todd Helton. Not only is he leading the team in steals right now :eek: with 1 he is crushing the ball when ever pitcher will pitch to him.

Todd is I think the best player in baseball for hitting with avg, HR and RBI and the best fielding first baseman in the game right now. How many guys have changed the way a game is played at first base? With how Todd plays the bunt and his great arm he can make teams change the way they bunt or as Rox fans have watched and loved for a few years throw any runner out trying to run on a bunt with him getting the ball.

These young guys are looking good.

Love Matt Holliday. He would have or should have been rookie of the year last year if he didnt get hurt at the end of the season.

Brad Hawpe is a great looking young guy also that Bill and I saw hit is first to MLB HR's!!!

Arron Miles is looking like a great 2nd baseman. We just hope Dan dont trade him for nothing like he has the past 2nd basemen. (Hey Dan what do you have against second basemen?)
