This is exactly what I was hoping to see right now. That is both the Twins and White Sox posting the AL's best records after 2 weeks.

I'm glad that the schedule makers have those 2 teams play each other off the bat.

With all due respect to Cleveland and Detroit.i think this will be a 2-team dogfight all the way.I'm really looking forward to the Twins visit to Chicago on Monday. If this season is any indication so far, expect some low-scoring 1-run ballgames on Monday and Tuesday.

This will be fun to watch.

Both teams are looking very good.

I gotta hand it to Chicago so far. Their pitching is carrying them and that's what win games. How long will it last is the question that I am thinking.

One thing for sure. Monday night and Tuesday night should be a good one at the Cell as you mentioned, Eric.

Detroit has really fallen apart with Mags being hurt, Urbina being unhappy as a setup guy, and now their starting pitching is in taters. Cleveland can't seem to win close games and they blow leads as you saw today. KC is KC.

I can't count the Indians out though. Eventually, they will win those close games.

At least you guys won't have to see Buehrle. You'll get to see those ex-Yankees El Duque and Conteras on the hill in Chicago.

I still can't believe that Jon Garland had perfect game stuff through 6 1/3 innings last night.

Actually, Buherle does not scare the Twins anymore. They have beaten him in the last three starts. El Duque is another story. This guy is as crafty as Johan is.

Speaking of Buherle, he was very good today as he outduel Ryan Franklin.

Yeah he was,if it were not for Ichiro's 3 hits,Buehrle would have had a no-hittier. :)

That game only took a lightning fast 1:39 to play.

I heard Hawk say that Ichiro is batting like .560 lifetime against Buehrle.Simply amazing.

Hawk was really amazed about Ichiro all day. He was actually smiling when Ichiro was hitting as he was gushing about him.

Ichiro, Jeter, Matsui are three guys that are so tough to get them out.

As for the time of the game, Grover was quoted saying he did not know the game ended that quickly.

This was the fastest game in at least the past 10 years according to ESPNEWS this afternoon.

Buehrle does work fast,This was his 2nd game this year that has gone under 2 hours. His first was on Opening Day.

Also,I love watching Ichiro play.Hawk is a huge fan of his.

I thought that this was the best announcing job by Hawk and DJ this year.Dj was impressive when describing a play when Joe Crede doubled high off the top of the wall in center. He explained how when Willie Bloomquist hit the cutoff man,he prevented Crede from stretching it to a triple.

Bloomquist threw a strike to the cutoff man, then he threw it to 3rd,in anticipation of Crede trying to stretch it to a triple.Crede made that turn, but retreated back to 2nd.

Both him and Hawk gave the Mariners thumbs up on that play. They said that it was executed perfectly.

I think Young ment that it was going to be the Indians and Tigers that was going to be in the fight for last. :D

Sorry Tigers fans. ;)

But it has seemed to be the Sox and Twins. If the Sox can hang on and not fade late in the season this could be a great fight....

Hal McCoy talked about how Dimitri Young talks trash yet his team plays like trash. That was funny and right on the mark.

White Sox and Twins are tied for second with the best record in the MLB. The Dodgers post the only better record at post time.
